Simple But Focused
Trinity Church of Medina is a place where we keep it very simple. It’s relaxed but focused. We don’t need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. He is the primary focus in everything we do. From preaching to singing and praying, He is at the center of it all.
Warm & Welcoming
We know it can be a little unsettling to visit a new place. Don't worry. We're a warm and welcoming community. We focus on God and His means of grace: preaching, prayer, communion, and fellowship. We seek to be loving, humble, & transparent.
Family Friendly
Trinity is a family-friendly environment. We believe that children are a blessing from God and are a vital part of every local church. We practice family integrated worship. There is a nursery for parents to change or sit with their little ones when needed. Our families often help one another with children during the service.
Origins
We began in October of 2022 with several families who wanted a true expression of Christianity. Our desire was to start a Reformed Baptist church that unashamedly preached the whole counsel of God and applied it to our corporate worship, personal & family lives, and engagement with the culture.
Purpose
Our primary purpose as a church, individuals, families, and a community is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We seek to be a Bible-based, God-glorifying, and Christ-centered church that proclaims both His law and His gospel.
What We Do
We worship our Triune God in spirit and truth by preaching the Word, praying the Word, seeing/tasting the Word, and fellowshipping around the Word (Acts 2:42). Our worship is God-focused rather than man-focused. Each believer grows in their walk through beholding, loving & worshipping God.

You can't know the sweetness of the good news without first believing the reality of the bad news
We live in a thoroughly ruined world that’s permeated with all sorts of depravity. It’s everywhere you look, beginning with your own heart. It’s easy to point your finger at those around you and identify a multitude of sins and crimes, but you don’t have to look very far to find mountains of corruption. If you are honest with yourself, you’ll admit that your heart is a perpetual factory of sin where you consistently violate the Law of a holy and righteous God.
The Law of God in the 10 Commandments is summarized in the requirement to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind. Do you always obey this greatest of the commandments? No, you do not. You never loved God perfectly for a millisecond of your life. No mere human has or can do so perfectly. In fact, you do the exact opposite. You love other things above God many of which are directly opposed to Him.
If you have lied, you are a liar (and if you deny having lied, you are currently lying). If you have stolen, you are a thief. If you have coveted, you are an idolater. If you have taken God’s name in vain, you are a blasphemer. If you have lusted outside of God’s covenant of marriage, you are an adulterer. Do I need to keep going? You have repeatedly sinned grievously in thought, word, and deed and must pay for your sins.
The penalty for your sins is death. One day you will die. Reliable statistics verify that 10 out of 10 people die. It is inevitable. Once you die, you will stand before God Almighty to give an account for everything you have ever done, thought, and said. This is terrifying when you consider your sinful condition. This reality should cause you to cry out to God for mercy. But since God is just, He will not forgive you based on anything you can do. You are in fact ruined and damned, destined for an eternity under His just and holy wrath.
You cannot break your bondage to sin, nor can you pay the penalty for it – which is why you will suffer torment forever under God’s judgment if you continue as you are. Jesus says, "whoever sins is a servant of sin." A servant of sin is bound to sin. It's as if you were born wearing a straitjacket of sin. You can't get out of it with your own efforts. You can't tear it off with religion, good works, or "being a good person" (because there are no good people). You can pretend it's not true. You can try to cover up your straightjacket of sin with self-righteousness, but your condition hasn't changed. You are bound in sin. Let this settle in and sober your mind. You find yourself in a hopeless and helpless condition. You find yourself ruined. This is your awful reality. But thanks be to God that the bad news is not where the story ends.
Although you deserve to be cast into the Lake of Fire forever, God freely offers you Eternal Life. Despite you being spiritually dead in sin, God graciously offers you new life in His love. But how does God redeem a person without violating His own demands for justice? Sin must be punished. It cannot be pardoned apart from payment.
God redeems people by payment. In fact, the word redemption means to "buy back with payment". You were born a slave of sin, only and always serving it as your master. But God, being rich in mercy has already accomplished redemption to save you from your utter ruin. You can be redeemed!
This is the best news you will hear in your life. It’s called the Gospel (“Good News”). The Gospel is that God Himself paid in full the sinner’s penalty by sending His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to redeem those condemned under the penalty of sin. Redemption was accomplished almost 2,000 years ago, well before you were born. You can add nothing to this redemption.
Jesus, the God-Man, was born of a virgin and lived a perfectly righteous life. He kept the Law by loving His Father with all His heart, soul, strength, and mind (in thought, word, and deed). He then suffered the torments of Hell on the cross and died. God the Father poured out His fierce wrath against sin upon Jesus. Since Jesus is God (infinite and eternal), He satisfied every demand for God’s justice – in His life and in His death. He demonstrated His power over death by rising from the dead, ascending into Heaven, and is seated at His Father’s right hand as King of kings and Lord of lords.
Jesus is currently exalted above all things and has all authority in heaven and on earth. He sent His Holy Spirit to apply this marvelous redemption to those who will believe. If this message offends you, and it should since it debases you before God, that’s a good start. God the Spirit is here to convict you of your sin and cast your eyes upon Jesus and Him alone for hope of redemption. If you are looking to yourself, religion, good works, or anything other than Jesus for eternal salvation, you are without hope and separated from God.
So here is the most important question. Do you believe the Good News of Jesus? If you ultimately reject Him as Lord and Savior, He will reject you. If you believe (trust) in Him, He will save you to the uttermost. You will possess all that He has earned – His righteousness (from His life) and His sacrifice (from His death). Simply and merely believe on Him and repent (turn) from your sins. He will not turn you away if you come to Him. He will accept you. He will save you. He will redeem you.
